Why Do You Keep Putting All These Disgusting Chemicals Into Your Mouth?

Cigarettes contain over 4,000 ingredients and here you see some of the real nasties.  I am constantly amazed that production and sale of these revolting chemical sticks is allowed.

I have to ask you - why on earth would you put these in your body?

Is it any wonder that your breathing is constricted, you have a persistent cough, your skin looks dull and you are ageing before your time?  You are a walking chemicals factory.

You know it is time to stop but maybe you have tried to kick this weed but cannot quite manage it.

Then I can help you, the e-a-s-y way with deep, relaxing hypnosis.

“Hypnosis is the most effective way of giving up smoking, according to the largest ever scientific comparison of ways of breaking the habit. Willpower, it turns out, counts for very little”.
  ~(New Scientist, Volume 136 issue 1845 31 Oct 1992, page 6)

My stop smoking in one session technique is very clever as it encompasses various add-ons to support the already powerful hypnosis eg NLP and Time Line Therapy.

In fact, I honestly cannot remember the last time someone did NOT stop smoking with me.

I am based in Portsmouth, UK but the good news is that I help people worldwide via SKYPE.

You can be the next  non-smoker, enjoying the freedom of a world without slavery to addiction.

All you have to do is contact me, Antonia Harrison, the English Skype Hypnotist.

Stop Smoking in One Session of Hypnosis

STOP SMOKING is the main reason people ask for hypnosis.

SUCCESS RATES of STOP SMOKING METHODS
"Hypnosis is the most effective way of giving up smoking, according to the largest ever scientific comparison of ways of breaking the habit. Willpower, it turns out, counts for very little". (New Scientist, Volume 136 issue 1845 31 Oct 1992, page 6)

95% of the clients who come to me stop smoking in one session of hypnosis.

"I was relaxed but consciously aware of my surroundings so I found it hard to believe that hypnosis would work after just one session. But I was very impressed. I thought it would be difficult but I found it relatively easy to stop smoking. I am not troubled by other people's smoking. I used to enjoy smoking but now I enjoy not smoking. I quickly found I can breathe more deeply and have noticed two other health improvements. After four weeks, I am still a motivated non-smoker." - James Benn, Brussels

What are the success rates for other ways of stopping smoking?
- Champix (Drug) up to 22% (with side effects)
- Acupuncture up to 25% success rate
- Zyban (Drug) with its side effects, up to 21% success rate
- Nicotine patches (with their side effects) up to 13%
- Nicotine Gum (with side effects) up to 11%
- Self-help books, 9%
- Willpower alone 6%

The American Journal of Clinical Hypnotherapy published a report.
"94% of patients that stopped smoking through hypnosis were still not smoking 18 months later".

"..93% of Niotine patch users fail within a half year..." (Freedom From Tobacco - Quit Smoking Now).

WHY STOP SMOKING?
There are many reasons to stop: bad for your health, expensive waste of money, no smoking rules at work or in bars/restaurants, planes etc., anti-social habit, passive smoke inhaled by family members especially children, smelly clothes and hair, ageing effect on your skin etc. I just ask one thing - that you want to stop for your own reason(s), not that someone else is pressuring you to quit. From the moment you book the session, you become an ex-smoker.

DOES STOPPING SMOKING HAVE TO BE DIFFICULT?
So many conditioned thoughts can lead you to believe it is difficult to stop smoking:
“Quitting is so hard.”
“I can’t stop thinking about cigarettes.”
“I’ll put on weight if I stop”.
(A common misconception.)
“I need to smoke to relieve stress.”
“I always smoke after a meal (or sex).”

With my help, you will stop smoking by relaxing and changing your thoughts about smoking. I do not use "aversion therapy" which makes you feel sick whenever you smell cigarette smoke but just reprogramme your mind to see you as a non-smoker. You will enjoy the freedom from slavery to smoking. I include suggestions to ensure you do not replace smoking with over-eating.

NICOTINE REPLACEMENT PRODUCTS
Some people even need therapy to break their addiction to Nicorette chewing gum or nicotine patches and scientists have found a high link in the risk of mouth cancer and nicotine replacement products.
See Cancer Risk with Nicotine Replacement Products

So don't take the risk - choose the natural, relaxing way to become a non-smoker.

STOP SMOKING WITH HYPNOSIS
I am the leading English Hypnotherapist in Belgium and have a high success rate of 95% with smokers who stop in one 60 - 90 minutes session of hypnosis. I see clients in Brussels (Avenue Louise) or Antwerpen (Berchem) or at my home in Limburg.

STOP SMOKING IN ONE GROUP SESSION OF HYPNOSIS
I can run a special group session in Brussels (Avenue Louise) or Antwerpen (Berchem) or one in your company or club.

A group session is a great idea for a club, school, charity or other organization which wants to raise money and encourage people to stop smoking and so look after their health at the same time.

Are You Ready to Stop Smoking with Hypnosis?

If you have decided you want to stop smoking, you might have heard of various methods including nicotine patches, nicotine chewing gum, acupuncture, prescription drugs and will-power. So, why use hypnosis?

1. It works immediately.
2. Hypnosis reprograms your mind at the powerful subconscious level to make the changes permanent.
3. A hypnosis session is pleasant and deeply relaxing with no side effects.

Have you considered what your life would be like if you never smoked again?
Imagine feeling healthy every day if you were no longer inhaling tobacco smoke with all its poisons into your body. Imagine starting the day without a coughing fit. Imagine feeling younger, fitter and more attractive if your body was optimising your health and energy, rather than suffering additional damage every day.

Imagine how happy and confident you would feel knowing that you had lengthened your life by years, possibly decades, and knowing you had greatly improved your chances of avoiding health problems.

Your family will thank you for taking responsibility to give you the best chance of a long and healthy life. A friend's husband died of lung cancer after 20 years of smoking, leaving behind an adoring wife and two girls who were not even ten years old. His girls still resent him for continuing to smoke when they begged him to stop and now leaving them so early in their lives.

Think about the thousands you will save over the years and all the fun things you can do to improve the quality of your life and of your loved ones. Wouldn't you rather put your children through university than smoke your way to an early grave?

Just imagine ...

The Fastest Way to Transform Your Life

There are several ways to stop smoking but many take a lot of time, many have a low success rate and some even have damaging side effects. Nicotine based products might stop you smoking but keep you addicted to nicotine with the possible risk of oral cancer from nicotine chewing gum.

Hypnotherapy, by contrast, offers a method which enables the smoker to give up smoking immediately, permanently in a deep, relaxing way without any side effects. New Scientist magazine (October 1992) investigated the various stop smoking methods available in a huge study involving 72,000 people and found hypnotherapy to be the most successful.

Stop Smoking with Hypnotherapy

The hypnotherapist induces hypnosis which is a simple and relaxing process which everyone can experience and then makes a number of suggestions to you which will allow you to leave smoking behind in the past.

How It Works

Every smoker started smoking for a reason, often during their teenage years to "appear big and grown up". Everyone thinks they can stop anytime they want to but often find it is not as easy as they think. So they look at various ways of stopping, usually waste lots of time and money before trying hypnotherapy.

Hypnotherapy works by accessing the subconscious mind direct because that is where every experience we have ever been through is stored and creates habits, good and bad ones. The subconscious mind does not know any difference between imagination and reality so if you reprogram it with positive outcomes, albeit imagined ones, it will do what is necessary to make them a reality. That is why hypnotherapy works for so many issues, not just stopping smoking.

Your hypnosis session will reinforce the positive outcomes of becoming and remaining a non-smoker.

Some people even have unnecessary fears about stopping smoking such as overeating as a substitute and putting on weight. Hypnosis will give positive suggestions to stop that happening. You will not be fighting cravings but rather enjoying the benefits of clean air, unclogged lungs, fresh-smelling clothes.

Remember that international scientific research by New Scientist reported that hypnotherapy is a much more powerful help than willpower alone, gum, patches and the other methods.

The average smoker spends around £2000 per year on smoking so stopping smoking will save a fortune over the years. Maybe even enough to buy your home outright. It therefore makes sense to invest a relatively small sum now to stop smoking quickly, either by visiting a qualified and experienced hypnotherapist for personal therapy or download a hypnosis Mp3 to overcome the habit in the comfort of your own home. You can find a download hypnosis Mp3 here or here.

Allen Carr's Easy Way To Stop Smoking

Allen Carr's Easy Way to Stop Smoking
This is the revolutionary international bestseller that will stop you smoking - for good. 'If you follow my instructions you will be a happy non-smoker for the rest of your life.' That's a strong claim from Allen Carr, but as the world's leading and most successful quit smoking expert, Allen was right to boast! Reading this book is all you need to give up smoking. You can even smoke while you read. There are no scare tactics, you will not gain weight and stopping will not feel like deprivation. If you want to kick the habit then go for it. Allen Carr has helped millions of people become happy non-smokers. His unique method removes your psychological dependence on cigarettes and literally sets you free. Accept no substitute. Five million people can't be wrong.

"The object of this book is to get you into the frame of mind in which, instead of the normal method of stopping whereby you start off with the feeling that you are climbing Mount Everest and spend the next few weeks craving a cigarette and envying other smokers, you start right away with a feeling of elation, as if you had been cured of a terrible disease."

Find Allen Carr on Amazon.

Here is what one reader wrote:
It works. , 26 April 2006
By S. Itenov (Denmark) - See all my reviews

"I have tried every method under the sun and tried to break my 15 year old 20-30 a day habit more times then I care to remember. The only method recommended to me by people who had actually stopped smoking permanently was Allen Carrs. They never seemed to talk about "still wanting one" and they seemed so damned happy about it, too, the bastards! So, being a smoker with a smoker's logic, I stayed away from Allen and his method, because it obviously worked and I would have to give up my precious ones!

After six years (during which time 54750 red Marlboros were sucked into my lungs!) I saw the book by chance in a bookstore and bought it, thinking that I would quit someday, but certainly not now. But I did. And it was easy. And enjoyable. And fantastic. And amazing. And now, four months later I can honestly say that have no need or desire to ever smoke again. For the first time in my adult life, I am free. And the cool thing is that so can you! Here is what you do:
1.Buy the book
2.read it and follow the instructions
3.Enjoy your (now much prolonged) life :-).

Thank you, Allen, you literally saved my life."

Activities to Ease You Through the Quitting Smoking Process

Many of us are accustomed to having daily smoking breaks at times of the day when we would, without fail, grab our packs and our lighters and head to an open window! Oftentimes we would look to our cigarette breaks as a chance to get away from the stresses of work or just to have a quiet moment to ourselves.

Just because you have given up cigarettes doesn't mean that you can't enjoy breaks. But now, instead of lighting up, substitute new, healthier alternatives that will give you a similar sense of calm and relaxation.

Here are some of my favorites:

Meditate
Meditation can be a wonderful way to gain control of your mind, especially when it's racing with thoughts of how much you miss smoking and cigarettes. It's incredibly easy to do and can be done anywhere, without any equipment except your own body

Simply sit on the floor in any comfortable position (such as cross-legged). Close your eyes. Attune your ears to the sounds around you, whether it's the noise of the street or the voices of your office colleagues. Now shift focus so that you are listening to the sounds of your breath and your own body. At the same time, concentrate on a mental image that gives you a sense of peace, such as a candle flame, a tree, or cloud. Try to keep your focus centered for at least 10 minutes at a time.

Listen to Music
Music is such an amazing distraction. It's so easy to get lost in a familiar melody, or to be transported by a new song that really speaks to you in some way. In fact, music has an effect on the brain that may be similar to chemical substances but it's all totally natural, of course!

A great tip is to substitute daily music breaks for what used to be your daily smoking breaks. Instead of going outside to puff away, put on a soothing CD or turn the radio on a channel you love. You can use your i-Pod if you are at work, or play it out loud if you are at home. The distraction will keep your mind off cigarettes, and the music will give your body its much-needed dose of relaxation.

Go for a WalkDon' just sit in your office or your living room thinking about how much you wish you had a cigarette right now. Instead, get up and put your body in motion. The physical stimulation will start endorphins coursing through your body. If you can take a stroll outside, do so and pay attention to the sounds of the birds, cars passing by, the color of the flowers in bloom, and so on. The point of this exercise is to get yourself out of your mind and focusing on external things in order to beat the urge to smoke.

Develop New Interests
Try developing new interests or hobbies like gardening or painting. Such things would keep your mind off that urge to smoke. All of us have a certain measure of creativity that often remains untapped. It would be a wonderful thing if you could try working on that creativity. Join a dance class or a drama class. Or you could try learning a new skill like pottery or clay modeling. Try to involve yourself with other people. Do same social work, or try helping out at the local volunteer organizations.

Change your lifestyle by changing your routine. Go swimming, try working out or going to the gym. Be active. Got something you wanted to do but never had the time to do it? NOW is the time. As you distract yourself by changing your lifestyle and developing new interests, you will be amazed at how easy it is to quit smoking!

Such activities make us appreciate the meaning of life in a better way and we will stop to think twice before we waste away this life at the end of a cigarette.

The Great American Smokeout 2007

On Thursday, November 15th, 2007 the American Cancer Society celebrated the 31st anniversary of the “Great American Smokeout”. The following is an excerpt taken from the American Cancer Society website which explains how the “Smokeout” came to be:

"The American Cancer Society Great American Smokeout grew out of a 1971 event in Randolph, Mass., in which Arthur P. Mullaney asked people to give up cigarettes for a day and donate the money they would have spent on cigarettes to a high school scholarship fund. In 1974, Lynn R. Smith, editor of the Monticello Times in Minnesota, spearheaded the state’s first D-Day, or Don’t Smoke Day. The idea caught on, and on Nov. 18, 1976, the California Division of the American Cancer Society succeeded in getting nearly one million smokers to quit for the day. That California event marked the first Great American Smokeout, which went nationwide the next year."

Sorry, I did not find out about this campaign before 15 November but still, it is never too late to stop smoking. Choose another day to start your "new beginning". Incidentally, the International World No Smoking Day is every year on 31 May.

Choose a day to put down your cigarettes for good. I encourage you to use your day as a new beginning, a fresh start to a life without cigarettes. A life where you can breathe easier and give your family and friends a chance to breathe easier as well. Respect you body that day and pass on the cigarettes. I know it won’t be easy but I’m certain you’ve faced harder challenges in life before. The American Cancer Society sponsors programs designed to help you quit and there are lots of other programs as well.

Take the Great American Smokeout challenge

I found this on a blog,
"This past August, I celebrated my 4th anniversary since I smoked my last cigarette. I used hypnosis to help me quit smoking. That’s really the whole reason behind this website! I had tried to quit before, but using hypnosis was different. I never dreamed I could go from a smoker to a non-smoker that quick & that easy. Sure I had a great desire to quit and high expectations for hypnosis, but in the back of my mind, I still wondered if it would really work? Well it did work and I’m living proof of it. And if I didn’t think it could help others, I wouldn’t waste my time singing the praises of hypnosis & self hypnosis! If you have that desire to quit, to breathe fresh clean air and get your life back on a healthy track, then I know that hypnosis could be the answer you’ve been looking for."

If the idea of using self hypnosis in the comfort of your own home appeals to you, I encourage you to look at the hypnosis MP3 downloads which have been recorded by expert hypnotherapists. For the cost of a few packets of cigarettes, you can be free of the addiction forever.

Jay is Stopping Smoking

On 15 November, Jay who is approaching 50 years old stopped smoking with this message,

"Today I am a non-smoker.

I'll spend most of this day devoting my energy to not lighting up and it may make me somewhat difficult to be around....but I will be a non-smoker today."

On 13 November he had written,

"I'm an addict. The very definition of is "engaging in a behavior that you know is harmful but you do it anyway".

It's time to start being honest. I'm suspending the challenge to devote my energies to getting control of this addiction. This is my priority. Nothing else is important right now. I may gain some weight; in fact, I'm expecting to since food is one way to cope with symptoms of withdrawal. I will exercise, but only to take my mind off smoking and not with any goal of muscle development. I sincerely hope that I haven't let anybody down that may have been looking to me for inspiration. My goal is to still get my health in order during this 50th year of mine and I've started counting from that birthday. By the turn of this year I hope to have my smoking habit long behind me and begin a new BFL challenge...a REAL challenge....so that by the time day 365 rolls around, I will indeed be a new person."

On 20 November, he posted this video on his blog,

Can a Smoker be a Student of Self-Improvement?

"But it's sad that people who have been doing self-improvement for over a year, people that have actually decided to look at their self and their life in such a developmental perspective, STILL SMOKE!

IF YOU WANT TO IMPROVE YOURSELF AND YOUR LIFE: DEVELOP SOME WILL POWER AND QUIT SMOKING!!"

I could not agree more.

When I was a Herbalife distributor, I remember Mark Hughes (the President) recommending that distributors lose their excess weight if they want to talk to others about losing weight and STOP SMOKING. Herbalife is a health company, not just a weight control company. We sold products for cellular nutrition to feed the body so it was totally contradictory to our purpose to smoke. Thing is that many smokers do not realise that they stink. If a smoker sits next to me, I have to move. It is no use just rinsing their mouth with water or chewing gum - their clothes and hair stink.

Is continuing to smoke relevant to personal development? Of course it is. PD is about learning and growing to be the best you can and conquering your demons and weaknesses. Choosing to poison yourself and pollute other people's air is most definitely a weakness.

If you are a smoker reading this, please listen to the message.

Stop Smoking - Withdrawal Symptoms

Dizziness may occur during the first one or two days. Take a quick break, it will pass.

Headaches may appear at any time during the first weeks. Try to relax. Take any usual remedy for headache, a cold cloth on the back of your neck, or relieve the stress by taking a short walk.

Tiredness may occur during the first few weeks, but if you meditate or relax during the first few weeks, it will pass.

Coughing may actually increase during the first few days, simply because the residue from the smoke has not been flushed from your system.

Tightness in the chest may occur in the first few days. Rest and take deep breaths, it will go away.

Sleeping problems may occur in the first few days. Try to stay away from drinks that have a high caffeine content and try not to exercise too strenuously in the hours prior to bedtime. A hot bath prior to retiring at night may also be helpful.

Constipation may occur in the first month after you quit. If this occurs, eat foods with a high fiber content, drink plenty of fluids, and do some light exercise.

Concentration may tend to wander during the first few weeks. Be ready for this, take a break or do something physical for a short period of time.

But...it will all be worth it!

Stop Smoking with Hypnotherapy MP3

The damaging effects of tobacco are well publicised. People who smoke are two or three times more likely to suffer a heart attack or stroke, or die of heart disease. Aside from serious diseases, there are a number of other ways tobacco can affect your health. Because smoking lowers the oxygen levels in your blood, it speeds up the ageing process and causes faster ageing skin and poor circulation. In addition it can reduce fertility and cause impotence.

Giving up smoking will not only have profound and immediate effects on your health and your looks, but it will also make a massive impact on your purse!

The effectiveness of hypnosis can be gauged by results of trials both in the USA and Europe, which have shown that hypnosis is the most effective way to stop smoking (New Scientist 31.10.92. page six).

The American Journal of Clinical Hypnotherapy (1968) published a report that showed that 94% of patients that were able to stop smoking through hypnosis were still not smoking 18 months later.

A recent study from the University of Iowa published in the Journal of Applied Psychology cites 48 studies of hypnosis covering 6000 smokers. The results left no doubt as to the effectiveness of stop smoking with hypnosis.

This powerful self-hypnosis track has been developed from nearly 20 years of successfully helping thousands of clients to become non-smokers. It will help you stop smoking immediately and through repeated listening you will become a life long non-smoker. The track will programme your subconscious mind to support you so you will not experience any cravings and you will feel comfortable about being a non-smoker.

Download this track and within an hour you will have stopped smoking and through repeated listening you will become a lifelong non-smoker. As with all the tracks this is backed up by a no questions asked, full money back guarantee - so what have you got to lose?

For less than the cost of a few packets of cigarettes, you can become a non-smoker for life.

All tracks are available for purchase as an MP3 audio download or as an audio CD delivered by post.

LiveFree Method to Stop Smoking

I have just received info on the LiveFree method of quitting smoking.

Unlike other methods that allow the body to absorb nicotine, the very drug that you are addicted to, LiveFree naturally targets the affected neural-receptors in your brain and safely mimics the pleasurable effects of nicotine....

How does it compare with nicotine patches, gums, or inhalers?
LiveFree is less expensive and far superior. To break a physical addiction, the substance must be removed, not replaced. The nicotine patch, gum, inhaler, and other nicotine replacement therapy aides add nicotine to the body in small increments. Because of this, many smokers do not completely quit. LiveFree flushes nicotine from the blood and tissue cells, enabling the smoker to quickly escape the physical addiction.

Stop Smoking with Hypnosis

You have seen and heard the warnings. You know what smoking is doing to your lungs. Perhaps you have tried to quit smoking before, but the gum tastes bad and no matter how hard you tried you just cannot pretend that the inhaler is a smoke. You have even tried counseling and prescription medications. So, what else is there for you to try? You should definitely consider hypnosis to help you quit smoking.

Why You Should Quit Smoking

Smoking does many things to your lungs. If you have seen the before and after pictures, you know how smoking takes a healthy pink lung and turns it into a black unhealthy one. Smoking can bring about cancer, emphysema and can increase your chances of heart attack and stroke. What causes this? The chemicals in cigarettes are outstanding and many of them are poisonous. There is also benzene, a chemical in petrol/gasoline; cadmium, found in batteries and oil paint and hydrogen cyanide that cause headaches, dizziness and nausea.

There are actually 4000 chemicals and of these 43 are cancer causing. One ingredient is acetone, an ingredient in nail polish remover. Arsenic, that is right, arsenic, the ingredient that is used to kill rats! Arsenic is what gives your lips a burn and your mouth a very bad taste.

What Happens When You Quit
This is what happens to your lungs after you quit smoking. Within 20 minutes of quitting your heart rate begins to drop. Twelve hours off the smokes brings your carbon monoxide levels to normal. Between two weeks and three months smoke free you begin to lower your risk of heart attacks and your lung function improves.

Within one to nine months, you will find that your coughing level is lowered and your lung capacity increases. One year and you have already cut your risk of a coronary heart disease to half of what it was when you were smoking. Fifteen years and you now have the same risk of a non smoker of having a coronary heart attack.

What Can Hypnosis Do?

Hypnosis is not what the cartoons and movies portray. You do not sit in front of a creepy man as he sways a dangling object in front of your face. The goal of hypnosis is to suppress the conscious side of the brain which is the “thinking” part of the brain with which you function most of the day. The purpose is to let the subconscious become available for tweaking by you and the hypnotherapist. Often, the hypnotherapist will work to teach your subconscious to equate smoking with something unpleasant, like nausea. While counseling only works on the conscious part of the brain, hypnosis works on the deep rooted subconscious levels of automatic thought.

Many hypnotherapists can help you quit smoking with just a single session of treatment

* Fifteen years and you now have the same risk as a non smoker of having a coronary heart attack.

Don't waste any more of your life on cigarettes. They offer you absolutely nothing of value. Take back your life! You deserve to be free!

Four million people die every year due to tobacco use around the world. A smoking-related death occurs somewhere in the world every eight seconds, 365 days a year.

5 Reasons to Quit Smoking
1) Heart Disease

Coronary heart disease is the leading cause of death in the U.S. and the leading cause of death caused by smoking. The toxins in cigarette smoke cause plaques to form in the arteries, which leads to atherosclerosis, otherwise known as hardening of the arteries. Smoking is hard on the heart.
2) Stroke
According to the U.S. Dept of Health and Human Services, stroke is the third leading cause of death in the United States, killing upwards of 150,000 people each year. For smokers, the risk of stroke is nearly 2-1/2 times that of nonsmokers.
3) Lung Cancer
According to the American Cancer Society, an estimated 213,380 new cases of lung cancer will be diagnosed - and 160,390 deaths will occur - in 2007 from lung cancer in the United States alone. Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death for both men and women, and with 87% of all lung cancer cases involving tobacco, it is one form of cancer that is preventable.
4) Emphysema/COPD
Tobacco use is the number one cause of COPD, and quitting smoking is the best way to halt further damage. It is estimated that as many as 10 million Americans suffer from COPD, with upwards of 14 million others who may have it but are undiagnosed. In the US, it was the fourth leading cause of death in 2000 and projections place it as the third leading cause by the year 2020.
5) Oral Cancer
Oral cancer (mouth cancer) is included in a specific group of cancers called oral and head and neck cancer. It's estimated that 70 to 80 percent of all cases of OHNC are due to tobacco use and heavy alcohol consumption.

There's No Time Like The Present...
If you are thinking about quitting, a good place to start is exactly where you avoided going in the past. Delve into the facts and figures about how destructive tobacco is. Learn exactly what you risk when you light up, day after day, year after year.

Realise that nicotine causes addiction. Using nicotine patches or chewing gum to stop smoking just keeps you addicted to smoking.
